I've been so BZZZZY!

There are hints in the air here, warmer (but still freezing) temps, longer daylight hours and the itch to go outside. So, I've been staying super busy here and I am ready to greet spring with some busy little bees of my own! Aunt Em gave me these tiny little bottles to play with and I'm happy with how they turned out... what do you think? I have a big show coming up; lots of artsy fartsy things and I plan to sell these cute vases for $2 each.

I also think they would make wonderful place cards at a spring shindig - don't you? Hmmm.... do I feel a party comin' on????

Ok, so these are the chairs in my art studio. I've had chairs in there for years, but last summer, on a whim (what a CONCEPT!) I decided to alter my plain-o chairs. Now, let me set the scene for you...

So, first thing, I do NO prep work at all. I just paint, alter - create!

I begin painting the first chair and Bigger M comes downstairs and stops in her tracks.
"What are you doing? You are gonna be in troooooouble! Daddy's gonna be mad at you."

And I start laughing. "Honey, they are my chairs, Daddy won't mind"

Dubious, Bigger M says, "Well, I don't like them. I won't sit in it and I'm NOT helping you."

I collapsed into giggles and continued painting. This is the best part though... when Daddy did come home, he liked them and then OH! Suddenly, she has a favorite!

Got to love that!

SIGH...Blog flubbing.

I think I got lost on the way to my computer! I had good intentions to blog, I swear it! But things have been a little busier than usual around here and well - I flubbed my blog. Well, I have LOTS of things to tell you all about now.

The number one amazing favorite thing I want to share with you... if you haven't already stumbled upon it yourself that is. www.etsy.com! Nearly everything is handmade and I have been drooling since MizNik and Aunt Em sent me there! Quite fabulous, truly!
